Join us for a panel of NYC freelancers discuss the ins and outs of working independently.

Join seasoned freelancers, Justin Wong, Calen Chung, Haruko Hayakawa, and moderator  Isabella Giancarlo for a conversation about about how they made the jump to start working independently. We’ll discuss how they balance the logistics of running your own show with working as a designer. We’ll delve into how the freelancing landscape is evolving and what the future might hold for independent professionals. This panel is directed towards individuals interested in embarking on or advancing in their freelancing careers. Experienced freelancers will discuss how they find clients, manage their businesses, and what they prioritize when building their professional networks and portfolios.

After the event you’re invited to join us for a brief reception and meet fellow freelancers.
