AIGA/NY MENTORING PROGRAM NOT FOR SALE POSTER EXHIBITION

This is a joint project between Triboro Design and the AIGA/NY Mentoring Program

Not For Sale is an exhibition of posters created to sell the most important things in life, the ones that no one is advertising. Our culture is saturated with commercial messaging and everywhere you look someone is trying to sell you something. However, the most valuable things in life are the ones that you can’t buy and no one is advertising. The posters are designed by students from the New York City High School of Art and Design in conjunction with their mentors. Come see the work of the next generation of graphic designers. The exhibition opens with a lecture by Triboro Design on Wednesday, May 15 and will remain up until Monday, June 3rd. You can also view the work here.

AIGA/NY MENTORING
The AIGA/NY Mentoring Program has been providing creative professionals with the opportunity to make a difference in the life of ambitious young artists for 20 years. The program gives professionals the chance to work with talented students from the New York City High School of Art and Design. Students are admitted to the high school by submitting a portfolio at the end of their 8th grade year.
