First Aid For Feedback

What if feedback wasn’t something we choked on, but consumed easily and often? This 2 hour session will provide you with a go-to 3-step method for welcoming feedback.

Feedback can be a choking hazard! Whether it’s stuck in your throat because you haven’t expressed it, or because you can’t digest it, Morgan Evans of Business Casual will walk you through the steps required to break that feedback down. In addition to getting a chance to practice delivering real-life feedback using a practical worksheet that walks you through the process, you will get a fresh new perspective on the topic. Morgan will boil it down to three key tips when it comes to giving, getting and inviting feedback so that it’s all a bit easier to digest.

This session provides a comprehensive and engaging introduction to effective feedback practices which creates the foundation of a healthy diet of open communication – a crucial requirement for successful relationships at work and at home.

This virtual session is geared towards Brand teams, Agencies, and Studios. For group rates please contact Stacey@aigany.org

Speaker

Morgan Evans

Morgan is a facilitator, mediator and organizational designer who runs a company called Business Casual where she works with leaders to design effective learning-oriented processes that enable organizations to tackle complex challenges and build intentional, healthy cultures into the bones of their operations.

With a MS in Organizational Change Management, she consults with clients to navigate the really sticky, human parts of work – stuff like giving feedback, learning from tough situations, stating explicit expectations and talking openly about things that are hard to say out loud. She has a strong track-record of providing value for owner-operated businesses navigating values-aligned growth in creative fields like hospitality and experiential design, in addition to startups of various sizes, small nonprofits, government agencies and arts organizations.

In addition to facilitating original workshops on topics like conflict de-escalation and building restorative cultures, she also runs a peer support group and community of practice for queer small business owners (Homeroom) and a radical manager training program for leaders at small businesses (Manager Study Hall).
