LEONARDO SONNOLI INTRODUCTION BY PAULA SCHER

Paula Scher discovered something on a trip to Italy that she wants to introduce to you: Leonardo Sonnoli. Partner in the studio Tassinari/Vetta in Trieste, Leonardo will talk about his adventures in typography, and how he navigates “between troubles and opportunities.” One of a handful of Italian designers known around the world, Leonardo’s work for cultural institutions, installation in museums, and art publications vibrate with energy and visual delight. Imagine the challenge of layering on further “visual entertainment” at the Château de Versailles, or the devilish thrill of creating a system of posters to support the performance “Everydayjohncage Live” with the help of the throw of the dice. Nice!

Join us for this intimate smalltalk and hear about process and imagination from the Maestro himself, the other Leonardo.
