Virtual Workshop
Sustainable Creativity
Creativity is a skill—learn it, practice it, sustain it
How do we sustain our creativity over the course of our lives? Join AIGA NY for an interactive virtual workshop on Sustainable Creativity, a practical approach to generating ideas and creating space for long-term creative growth.
Led by Kaushik Panchal, this workshop introduces a framework designed to help you not only generate ideas but also build a personal practice that nourishes your creativity over time. Drawing on the metaphor of a “tennis court” for ideas, Kaushik Panchal will guide participants in creating the kind of structured space needed to have meaningful, focused conversations about creativity away from the chaos of everyday life.
During the session, participants will be invited to reflect on and share the inventive ways they sustain their creative energy, from forming monthly meetups with peers to writing stand-up comedy. This isn’t just a lecture; it’s a collaborative space for idea exchange and creative renewal.
Why Attend?
- Learn a system to maintain and grow your creativity for a lifetime.
- Gain practical strategies for creating a “space” to think, share, and develop ideas.
- Connect with other creatives and share your own methods for staying inspired.
Without ideas, culture stagnates and if culture doesn’t change, we only repeat the past. Let’s step onto the court together and create something new.
What do people who have taken part in the Sustainable Creativity workshop think?
“One of the most important questions a person, a team, a company can ask itself is how will we sustain our creativity? Taking a moment to reflect and explore new ways with your help was a treat. Thank you, Kaushik!”
– Joff Redfern, Menlo Ventures! Ex-CPO @Atlassian, Ex-VP @Linkedin
“Too often people think of creativity as a moment, an activity, something that happens behind closed doors. Look deeper though and you’ll realize that creativity is more like a practice, a mindset, a way of moving through the world. In this unique workshop Kaushik leads you on a bespoke journey through his framework and ideas about the practice of creativity itself. I promise you’ll never think of “creativity” in quite the same way again.”
– Bob Baxley, SVP, Design & Experience at ThoughtSpot
