SAM WEBER: YOUR DREAMS MY NIGHTMARES

Sam Weber was born in Alaska, really. He lived in Canada as well and now has chosen to join us in New York. He is married to another very talented illustrator (Jillian Tamaki) and has a very impressive client list (National Geographic, The New Yorker, The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Sony/BMG, Playboy, et). If you're familiar with his work you've most likely stared at it wondering...what, how, really? Its truly incredible and only continuing to top itself. For the past year Sam has been hosting a radio podcast titled "Your Dreams My Nightmares" in which he interviews other designers and illustrators (Tomer Hanuka, Mike Perry, Olimpia Zagnoli) that he finds interesting and are willing to be subjected to his questions and compliments. In the process of doing this he has learned a lot about himself and his work. Fortunately for us he has decided to let us in on some of his recent learnings, his inspirations and of course some of his incredible work. AIGA/NY is proud to facilitate what is sure to be a beautiful evening.
