THURSDAY 3 NOVEMBER 2011 6:30–8:00PM
NEW YORK CITY, TALK TO ME!

Along with the noise from the everyday hustle and bustle of this large city, it also speaks to us. No, not as voices in our heads, but all around us. Whether using text, diagrams, lights, or moving images, things "talk to us" on a constant basis, in a place where being heard can be a constant challenge. In MoMA's highly acclaimed exhibition Talk to Me, we follow New York City's conversation using all of our senses. On November 3, spend an evening with AIGA/NY and MoMA's Senior Curator of Architecture and Design Paola Antonelli, the organizer of the exhibition, who will lead a discussion among three of the designers in the show who focused on New York's communication between its people and objects. Don't miss this inside look!

MoMA will be open until 8.30 p.m. that day as part of its MoMA Nights program, in which the Museum is open late the first Thursday of the month, September–June, and weekly Thursdays in July and August, with a DJ, cash bar, special menus in Terrace 5 and Cafe 2, and free Gallery Conversations. All of MoMA’s galleries will be open, so be sure to visit its extraordinary collection, including the third-floor Architecture and Design galleries.

Talk to Me closes on November 7, do not miss it!
