MEMBERS SERIES: MY DOG AND PONY II
AIGA/NY MEMBERS SERIES
MY DOG AND PONY II
Back by popular demand, (OK, uprising) we offer yet another chance to be a fly on the wall during other designer's presentations. They say, "Nothing succeeds like success," but we think, "Nothing succeeds like success when it is properly presented!" Four presentations will be re-presented LIVE, just as they were presented to the client. This is an event for all your senses, New York: WATCH with wonder as ideas are revealed! LISTEN with awe as justification is invented on the spot! TASTE the fleeting elixir of success! SMELL the beer and mixed drinks (because this will be held at Galapagos in Brooklyn, and the cash bar awaits)! And TOUCH your savings lightly because this event is priced for lean times at just $13 a pop for members.
- Jonathan Alger of C&G Partners will present an instant replay of the Yankee Stadium, er, pitch.
- Debbie Millman of Sterling Brands will present: Tropicana, or how a straw in an orange became such a beloved icon that people fought over it.
- Michael Bierut of Pentagram will present: his maddening identity for the Museum of Arts and Design.
- Liz Danzico of Bobulate and Jessi Arrington of WORKSHOP will sympathetically present: the Charter for Compassion.
We're happy to get the AIGA/NY Fall season off to a rip-roaring start. Join us for an evening of baseball, fruit juice, madness, compassion and fun.
The Members Series is an ongoing series of events that are open to the general public, but cater to Member's concerns for content, networking and price. These events will be comprised of workshops and how-to sessions, as well as more social evenings geared toward raucous fun, like this one. Want to know more>? Come and see for yourself!
