Hands-On Workshop: InDesign
Session 1 Introduction
Are you ready to use to InDesign but confused about where to start? Have you wondered what makes it tick? If so, this Hands-On Workshop is for you, and you'll learn while driving a Mac.
Instructor Scott Citron will introduce you to InDesign and take the time to help beginners understand how to get started. Learn how to customize the interface, work with objects, set up pages, flow text, set type, understand style sheets, linking, create special inks and swatches, and export to pdf.
Registration is limited to 17 people per session. One lucky attendee from each session will take home a copy of something special. So register now!
Scott Citron is an Adobe Certified Instructor and print designer in New York, specializing in fine books and corporate identities. As a trainer his clients include the Guggenheim Museum, the United Nations, Simon & Schuster, Wieden + Kennedy and Kate Spade, among others. He is currently writing a design book for Adobe Press to published in spring 2007.
Hands-On Workshops are presented in coordination with AIGA New York Sustaining Partners to offer valuable information to design professionals.
