Friday 29 & Saturday 30 April 2005
MOVE2: Stories In Motion

How did the creatives at Crispin Porter + Bogusky transform a quaint car from across the pond into the sexy Mini Cooper? Wha’s next for motion graphics innovators MK12, whose spots for EA Sports fearlessly take you into the mind of a videogamer? Why are the oddball vinyl plushies of Friends With You the new darlings of public art installations, Nike Lab, and a certain hotel in Denmark? Is computational artist Golan Levin creating the newest mode of audiovisual expression when he conducts a symphony of cellphones, or transmutes speech into graphics that can be played as instruments?

Get the answers to these questions and much more at MOVE: Stories In Motion, a design conference that will explode the definition of motion graphics and expand the boundaries of storytelling. Moderated by Peter Hall.

Presented by the New York Chapter of AIGA, MOVE will showcase groundbreaking work by today’s leading artists, filmmakers, designers, music-video directors, VJs, musicians, and Efx wizards. We guarantee that you will leave feeling so inspired that you will either rethink the way you do your current job or youll be motivated to quit and start a new one. Hey, put your creativity in motion.
